The recent work of Roy Mordechay (*1976, Tel Aviv) position the individual on a stage within their own universe. The chromatic finely graded, sometimes mysterious and dark, sometimes sweet-pastel-colored, surreal landscapes are inhabited by various creatures, strange functionless scaffolding and fragile branches. These models of reality play in a picturesque respect to the controlled random when on screens ink runs watercolor-like and is combined with oil paints. The exhibition includes canvases and watercolors.
